Joan M. Ferretti

Joan M. Ferretti, received her undergraduate degree in biology from Fordham University in the Bronx.  She received her Masters in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and her law degree with honors, from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia.

For twelve years, she was an adjunct professor of law at Pace Law School in White Plains, teaching environmental and conservation law in the JD and LLM programs.  She has lectured on environmental law issues and authored articles on environmental law topics and the use of scientific evidence in New York State civil practice.  She has provided extensive pro bono services regarding pesticides and toxic substances.

Ms. Ferretti is licensed to practice law in New York State and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  She litigates in federal and state courts in New York, and has handled appeals in all four judicial districts of New York State, the New York State Court of Appeals, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  She is a member of the NYS Bar Association and the DC Bar.
